Meet Wally

A couple weeks ago I had to meet up with a coworker to do some work at her house.  After the day was done and we had a moment to just relax and catch up on life, I took out my camera and took a few shots of her puppy, Wally.  Wally isn’t really a puppy anymore; he’s actually quite a large Golden Doodle, who looks exactly like a stuffed bear.  If he sat perfectly still, I’m sure people would mistake him for a stuffed animal, he’s that fluffy.  I got a couple good shots, but we will be setting up an actual session for me to do more photos.  Thought I’d share a couple of my faves from that day!

Last summer, my husband and I decided we wanted to be a foster home for dogs at the local humane society.  Our first – and only – dog was a wonderful Golden-Doodle name Bentley.  He was absolutely adorable, and was only with us for a week.  He has cataracs in one eye, and a severe allergy to grass, which meant that he scratched like crazy.  Unfortunately, we couldn’t continue fostering after Bentley found his forever home, as we found out that Nik is severely allergic to dogs.  But man, was he fun to have around!
